Lil Wayne’s Pro-Life, Pro-Love Message?

Sometimes pro-life inspiration comes from unlikely sources. While Lil Wayne is certainly not known for clean music content in general, the music video created for his recent hit “How to Love” does a great job of addressing the issue of choice in our society. Choosing love over abortion saves a life, and continuing to choose love influences that life forever.

  2. Lil Wayne is a filthy pervert who has been given a mouth by the Lord His God to use to encourage his idiot rebellious fans to obey God. Instead, he flips God off and promotes fornication, adultery, fags, and idolatry, and all forms of godless filth. Yet now he’s saying the unborn are alive? Umm..duh?? Ya think so, genius? So we’re supposed to excuse this evil man cause on this issue because on this issue the blind squirrel found a nut? He is a microcosm of the God haters who listen to him – they are hard hearted, hell-bound and hedonistic. Lil Wayne refuses to obey God, he is a vain talker and deceiver! See Titus 1:16. And, he wears a cross around his neck, claims to read the Bible everyday. 1 Corinthians 6:9 and Revelation 21:8??? Ever read those? They fit you like a glove, Lil Wayne. You mock God’s perfect standards in all you do and say, and God is not fooled by your feeble insincere attempt to pimp this “I’m pro-life” now, scheme! You poison the minds of young people i know – and theres a huge millstone waiting for you! See Luke 17:2. Prepare to meet thy God you evil sick man, you. God hates you. You are headed straight and irreversibly for hell! Magormissabib!

    1. God hates no one, but judgmental, holier-than-thou types certainly aren’t bringing him joy either.  Recall Jesus’ story about the Pharisee and the tax collector — which did He say was looked upon with more favor in God’s eyes?  We are all sinners.

    2. I know the way you are thinking, but I have to say it’s wrong. It leaves no room for error, which is contrary to everything the Lord has taught us. Humans sin. We should try not to, and pray for grace, but not since Jesus has a human being been sinless. You can’t condemn everything that comes out of someone’s mouth because they have sinned in the past. In that case none of us would be credible, ever. Rejoice in his awakening and pray for it to continue. All hatred is from the Devil, you Westboro satanist. Love is from God. “Love thy enemies, be good to those who hurt you….”

    3. Whoa Chris…coming out guns blazing on this one. I would not hold Lil Wayne up as a saint or anything close to it as well but I am also not sure that we should be judging his soul so intensely.  We can all have our opinions about the state of one’s soul but the final word doesn’t come from us; God reserves that job.  I personally think we should pray for people like Lil Wayne, those that seem to know of the truth of God but are lost in the ways of the world.  I think instead of seeing negativity here I think we should see it in a positive light.  He is using his talent and his influence as a voice of this world’s culture and sending a positive message out.  For that Lil Wayne should be thanked because, let’s be honest, the guy has some clout and he used it for good in this song.  I would venture to say that his actions through this video will probably have more influence on the pro-life movement and the unborn then you ever will have.  Show a little respect.

    4. Am I the only one who doesn’t know what “Magormissabib” means? lol…

First of all and most importantly, nobody is headed “straight and irreversibly for hell”. If we confess our sins He is faithful and just, and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Including Lil Wayne.

Secondly, the pro-life issue is not an exclusively Christian issue and sometimes I think we need to emphasize more how abortion is a human rights violation, rather than a sin against God. It’s not that the issue of sin isn’t important, but what’s the pro-life movement about? Is it about saving babies or is it about proselytization? Considering that there are people of every religious persuasion and none who believe in saving unborn children, I’d go with the former. If you can accomplish the latter at the same time, GREAT. But it’s not a prerequisite of being pro-life. So I don’t see how Lil Wayne releasing a pro-life song suggests that he’s trying to “fool God” into thinking he’s a Christian. Even if he was, that’s for God to deal with. But Lil Wayne has fans, and his fans are listening to this song, and that’s a win for babies. THAT is the important thing about this song.

  3. The first half of this video seems to promote the prochoice stance, that an unwanted baby should be aborted but I’m so glad they turn it around to show that it’s our choices in life that most often make one’s life happy or not happy, successful or not.

Could someone please remove “Chris”‘s comment below.  It’s people like you Chris who give the pro-life movement a bad name.

  4. incredible video, almost teared up even on the second time watching it.

Anyone notice the nurse wearing the crucifix in the last scene when she’s pregnant, but she wasn’t wearing it at the beginning for the abortion or for the aids diagnosis?
Also the Jesus statue on her nightstand at 2:46?
Hope lil wayne can come out with more like it.

  8. Why should we take away a childs soul. Why should they have to suffer from the pain that we bring by having them. if only we would use,our brain and this saying from Lil Wayne, can help our young kids from having to die, or live. We still bring them in this world to suffer.Instead of thinking about using a rubber.

  9. This isn’t a “pro-life” (anti-choice) message, it is a video about making choices. The woman at the beginning of the video made the CHOICE to keep her baby. CHOICE CHOICE CHOICE.
